BACKGROUND

I have more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. I joined Alterna Savings as a Small Business Advisor before becoming a Wealth Advisor in 2019.  

What keeps me motivated as a Wealth Advisor is my ongoing desire to help people achieve their financial objectives and live a full, satisfying life without the stress of money management. I help members reach their goals by first becoming familiar with their particular needs, values and plans for the future, including retirement. From there, I can offer members customized financial planning advice to help them achieve financial security and peace of mind.  

Through my many years of financial services experience, I’ve gained expertise regarding a range of non-personal accounts, including corporations and trust structures. I have also developed many strong relationships over my career with professionals in the real estate, legal and accounting fields, and I use those relationships to benefit members when they need my network for specialist support. 

EDUCATION

From an educational standpoint, I graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Regarding my financial industry credentials, I have earned the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Investment Manager designations. 

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Caring for our communities is embedded in Alterna's mission. We give over one million dollars a year in donations, sponsorships and community support - alongside countless volunteer hours. Alterna also provides an annual paid volunteer day to all employees, encouraging them to donate time to causes in their local communities.
