BACKGROUND

I joined Alterna in 2015 and became a Wealth Advisor in 2019. I have over 15 years of banking experience, including working as a Financial Planner and Senior Account Manager at a major bank. In this role, I provided tailored financial planning advice - including the use of investment, credit and banking solutions - to help clients reach their goals. 

I've always liked helping others and building relationships. I find great joy in being able to help clients achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. My favourite area of advising is the discovery stage, where I learn about members, their families, work life, hobbies, etc. This discovery forms the foundation of any good financial plan and provides the necessary insights to ensure we make recommendations that are best suited to our members. 

I'm known as a strong communicator and relationship builder who is always willing to go above and beyond for members. As a certified Financial Planner (CFP) with more than 15 years working with clients and a proven track record of success, I am well qualified to help members achieve their financial goals. 

EDUCATION

I earned an Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Honours, in Economics) from Nipissing University. Along with my CFP designation, I have also attained the Personal Financial Planner and Responsible Investment Specialist designations.  

COMMUNITY IMPACT

My volunteer work has included Ami Jeunesse, which is an organization that provides assistance and support for French-speaking children and their families, with the objective of helping to end poverty.

Caring for our communities is embedded in Alterna's mission. We give over one million dollars a year in donations, sponsorships and community support - alongside countless volunteer hours. Alterna also provides an annual paid volunteer day to all employees, encouraging them to donate time to causes in their local communities.
