Now that you know your way around, learn how to set up favourite transactions for faster funds transfer and bill payments!

By saving common transactions as favourites, you will be able to transfer funds and pay bills faster from the homepage of online banking and mobile banking by going to the Favourites icon on the homepage of online banking.

NOTE: Before you can set a transaction as a favourite, you will need to make a transaction.

Start by logging in to online banking.
Under Pay & Transfer, select Transfer Funds.
Select the Account you want to Transfer from.
Select the Recipient account you want to Transfer to. You can transfer to your own account or to an Alterna Savings account you a joint owner of.
Enter the amount into the Transfer details.
Choose the frequency or timing under Scheduling and choose from
the options Immediate, Future-dated or Recurring and press Continue.
Once you confirm your transfer details, select Continue to complete the transfer and see confirmation of a successful bill payment/transfer.
From the transaction Complete page, below the message “Your bill payment/transfer has been successfully completed,” select the Add to favourites button (a heart icon) to add to your Favourites.
Enter favourite name in the pop-up and select Continue to successfully add a Favourite to your Favourites list.

How to access a favourite transaction

After you have set up a favourite transaction, select  Accounts, then Favourite transactions. Alternatively, you can choose the Favourites icon from the online banking landing page.
Choose your named transaction from Favourites.
Select the Use button (a heart icon) and review your saved favourite transaction.
You can either complete the favourite transaction with the saved fields, or if you make changes to any of the fields and save your changes as a new favourite.

To view your Favourites operations,
- Select Home and scroll to the bottom of the page, or
- Select Pay & Transfer screens, and
- Select Show more to open the Personalized favourites screen.
To delete, edit, or use a favourite operation, select
- More in the bottom navigation
- Personalized app from the list
- Personalized favourites
- A favourited operation from the list to delete, edit, or use a transaction.
  - Choose Delete to be prompted to delete the favorite transaction from your favourite list.
  - Choose Edit to toggle on or off the visibility of the favourite.
  - Choose Use to use the favourited transaction.

Set-up favourites

You can favourite, bill payments, CRA Payments, transfers, send and request money, and other eligible transactions

Example:

Under Pay & Transfer, select Transfer.
Select the To my account and select a Source account to transfer from.
Select the Recipient account you want to Transfer to. You can transfer to your own account or to an Alterna Savings account you a joint owner of.
Enter the amount into the Transfer details.
Choose the frequency or timing under Scheduling and choose from the options Immediate, Future-dated or Recurring and press Continue.
Once you confirm your transfer details, select Continue to complete the transfer and see confirmation of a successful bill payment/transfer.
From the transaction Complete page, select the Favourites button (a star icon) to add to your Favourites.
Enter favourite name in the pop-up and select Add favourite to successfully add a Favourite to your Favourites list.
