To turn notifications on or off, click on the Profile & Preferences tab
- Choose My alerts > Business notifications
- Select the notifications you would like to receive by clicking on the circle beside the notification title. The circle will turn green when notifications are switched on.
The following Business notifications are available:
- Pending transactions - sent when a transaction that requires the user’s approval is created.
- Expiring transactions - sent when a transaction that needs to be approved is reaching the expiration date. When subscribed, alerts will be sent 4 days before an operation is about to expire and again 24 hours before expiry.
- Canceled transactions - sent when a transaction that the user created was rejected or canceled.
- Approved transactions - sent when a transaction that the user created was approved.
Some information on Alerts:
- Users can subscribe for either Email, Push Notifications, or both. NO SMS Option.
- Users must manually subscribe to all alerts (will default to OFF)
- The subscription settings are associated with the particular user of the business who has subscribed to them (ie. Signer 1 can have different settings than Signer 2, etc.)
- All Approvers (ie. Signers) who have subscribed to Business Alerts will receive the alerts for Pending Transactions and Expiring Transactions, regardless if they are the initiator of the transaction or not. Users who are not able to approve (ie. Account Admins) will NOT receive these two alerts, even if they have subscribed to that particular alert.
- Delegates will NOT have access to the business notifications page and will NOT be able to subscribe to alerts.
- Transactions can be in a pending state for 7 days before reaching expiry.
